Steps of filming method
① Clean the surface to which the membrane switch needs to be attached (the surface must be flat, free of rust, oil, and dust);
② Compare the size (place the membrane switch at the intended location and compare to see if the size and position are correct);
③ Then peel off about 10mm of the centrifuge paper at the bottom of the membrane switch from the edge;
④ Then place the membrane switch in the corresponding position and stick it in place, slowly peel off the remaining centrifuge paper (without exceeding a 15-degree angle), and then stick it in the corresponding position in order.
⑤ During the pasting process, if the membrane switch on the reverse side of the centrifuge paper is torn off, it needs to be placed first, with the reverse side facing up, to prevent it from sticking to other objects and affecting the pasting;
⑥ Precautions: Paste cannot be repeated, and must be completed in one go; the pulling angle cannot exceed 15 degrees; when testing the feel, be sure to place it flat on the table before pressing, and do not press it in the air while holding it in your hand, otherwise it will affect the service life of the membrane switch.
Precautions for film application
① The bubble wrap lining between membrane switches serves to reduce pressure on the buttons and prevent failure, and should be retained;
② The transparent films covering the front and back of the membrane switch serve to protect its display window, so do not remove them easily;
③ After taking out a few membrane switches, they should be bundled up as they were, but absolutely not too tightly;
④ Thin film surface mounts and membrane switches that have a good feel and are in large quantities should be packed vertically to prevent the buttons from failing due to prolonged heavy pressure;
⑤ The outgoing lines of the membrane switch should be well protected and must not be placed with the outgoing lines facing downwards;
⑥ For membrane switches with display windows, care should be taken to prevent the material from being bent under stress during handling, as this may leave creases;
⑦ The membrane switch should be stored indoors at room temperature, with dust and moisture prevention measures taken, and the surrounding air should be free of acidic, alkaline, or other corrosive gases.
